About

Hi I'm Kylie

Movement has always been an important part of my mental health as well as my physical health.

I found Yoga after years of long distance running left me with a double knee injury.

So, suffice it to say, I am no stranger to having to change up a movement routine to support the healing of injuries.

In over a decade of practicing + teaching Yoga I've noticed that, just like me, many people come to the mat for Yoga's array of wellness benefits.

Unfortunately, public group Yoga classes are not always the most conducive environment for healing, especially for newcomers to the practice or individuals with movement limitations.

This made me realise that there was a need for more inclusive alternatives in the Yoga space.

And so the idea for Embody was born!

I wanted to create a highly personalised practice environment that would not only work with movement differences, but would embrace them!

I don't take a one-alignment-fits-all approach to teaching.

I believe that the practice of Yoga serves us best when it honours our unique bodies.

I’m a big fan of creating variations of traditional postures. I use lots of props (like cushions, blankets, and Yoga blocks) and I like to incorporate other therapeutic movement modalities into each class to support the unique needs of each individual client.

I have such a deep appreciation for the practice of Yoga. It’s been a game-changer in my life, so it always feels really special to be able to share that with others.

Nothing makes me more excited than witnessing my clients learning to trust their bodies through movement.

I am beyond excited to bring inclusive, quality Yoga classes to our community!
